CROCK POT MONGOLIAN BEEF




INGREDIENTS

  • 5 lb chuck roast thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 5 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup cooking sherry
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 1/4 bundle asparagus sliced
  • black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Coat meat pieces with cornstarch and set aside.
  2. Mix all remaining ingredients in your crock pot and then add your beef, toss well. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Serve over rice.
